Wash your scalp properly: It is very important to wash your scalp properly and gently as due to high humidity levels, normally we sweat more during monsoon season than other season. A hair conditioner is a must: If everyone likes to keep their hair and scalp perfectly in monsoon season then it is necessary to apply a good conditioner each times after wash their hair. This provides shine our hair and prevents hair from breakage. But conditioner choose is very important point.

Avoid using hairdryer and hair styling: Normally everyone try to avoid use hair dryer, always dry your hair naturally. If due to some reason, you are using a hairdryer, then do not use badly and leave them frizzy and damaged.

Use a wide-toothed comb: Avoid use round and flat hairbrushes and instead use a wide-toothed comb in the monsoon season to allow less breakage and damage to hair. Always try not to tie your hair too tightly as this may lead to hair breakage or damage, dandruff and fungal infections. Instead go for lose hairstyles or just let your hair open.

If anybody likes to use home made products for any kinds of hair problem, it’s amazing, so many products found in the kitchen room that we can use as home made products. Here are some nice ideas:

  • In monsoon times, make a paste of two bananas, 1 tbsp honey and apply on the hair gently. Leave it for 30 minutes. You can see that it takes away the dryness of hair and hair become softer
  • 3 tbsp of dahi (curds) mixed with one egg can be applied as conditioner after shampooing. This mixture to be kept on your head for 10 – 15 minutes and then wash off. The hair will be softer, bouncy and shine.
  • Apply only lemon juice for 15 minutes and then rinse it, this is a very good effective remedy to achieve an oil free scalp within a very short period.
  • Make a hair mask with honey and almond oil. Mix two parts of oil with one part honey in a bowl. Warm slightly and then apply the mask evenly thorough your hair. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes and then wash off with mild shampoo.
  • Itchy scalps are commonly arise in the monsoon time due to sweat, grime sticking to the scalp. Everyone should take care of this. Add a tablespoon of vinegar to a full mug of water and use it after shampooing. It helps to relieve the itching and disinfectant.
  • Methi (fenugreek) seeds a wonder herb that takes care of many hair problems like hair fall, weak hair and dandruff etc. Soak Methi seeds overnight in a glass of water. Strain the water next morning and use it to rinse the hair to tackle all kinds of hair trouble.
  • We should have diet rich in Vitamins E and C for strong and healthy hair like spinach, olives, dried apricots, amla, tomatoes, citrus fruits, bell peppers etc.

How To Get Rid Of Hair Dandruff

Dandruff is a common scalp condition. In its primary stage, it consists of loose white flakes, that we noticed on the back and shoulders. Sometimes, this flakes may be in yellowish color. Etching can be arise on our head due to  mild dandruff. Sometimes the scales, along with oily secretions, which people commonly says as “Sticky Dandruff”. In winter, the scalp may become flaky and dry due to lack of moisture. This type of dandruff is the loose kind that we can see our on the shoulder and back.


Hot oil treatment is a very useful at home for the prevention and control of common dandruff. This also helps or relieves dryness of the scalp and prevents

Hair Dandruff

Heat olive oil and apply on the scalp with cotton wool. Rub gently to remove the flakes. Then dip a towel in hot water, squeeze out the water and cover it around the head. Keep it on at least 5 minutes. Repeat this process 3 to 4 times. This helps the hair and scalp absorb the oil better. Leave the oil on overnight. In the next morning, apply the lemon juice on the scalp and leave it on at least ½ an hour. Then wash the hair. This process can be done once or twice a week.

Use a mild herbal shampoo and rinsing well with water. Before ½ an hour use two tablespoons vinegar on the scalp and massage it gently into the scalp.

Make a mixture of 5 drops of Rosemary essential oil with 50 ml rose water, shake well and keep this mixture in tight glass bottle. Apply this on the scalp after shampoo, use this mixture with cotton wool and leave it on.

Neem Leaves: Add two handfuls of neem leaves to five cups of hot water. Let it stand overnight. In next morning, use this liquid and then rinse the hair. It helps and relieves itching and keeps the scalp healthy, free from any fungus infections. And also it is useful in preventing dandruff.

Ripe papaya is excellent for exfoliation of the skin and always bring about newer looking skin, generally this papaya can be used all types of skin types.

Recipe can be used for skin rejuvenation: ½ cup ripe papaya pulp, ¼ cup of oat flakes, ¼ cup coconut milk. Now make the mixture with all these said items and gently run the mixture on your face and neck also for about 5 minutes. Then wash off with milk and water, notice the glow for yourself.


Recipe can be used for skin glow: ½ cup ripe papaya pulp, 4 tsp carrot juice, 4 tsp orange juice, 1 tsp honey or glycerin. Now make the mix with all these said items and apply this pack all over the face and neck and also can be massage.

Everybody want their hair looking very good shining, silky and looks so beauty, but most of the people do not know the procedure to make their hair shining, silky etc. that’s why their hair can dull and damaged very soon. In such circumstances, the only way to keep their hair perfect solution for nourishing and rejuvenating, i.e. HAIR SPA treatment.

Now a day Hair Spa is a new concept that is claimed to be good for various hair problems, such as dull and damaged hair and hair loss, dandruff, etc. So let us have a look at the various way of hair spa treatment.

What is Hair Spa Treatment?

Basically a Hair Spa depends on good oil massage of the scalp, shampooing and then conditioning. Hair Spa starts with oiling the hair and scalp, which is followed by shampooing. After that conditioning treatment is done. This process / treatment may be taken around an hour in a Salon. Those are facing hair loss, dull and damaged hair, Hair Spa treatment is must for them to get their hair free from dandruff, itchy scalp etc and this treatment can be reduced all of these problems.

A hair spa consists of oil massaging, then shampooing, then hair mask and last conditioning. In this way, hair problem can recovery of the shine and moisture in the hair. All the hair problem depends on pollution and dryness.

Scalp is massaged must be continue at least 10 minutes while shampooing.  After that a deep conditioning mask is applied and continue massaging for 20 minutes. Then hair cream to be applied from the rood of the hair to the tip. The enter process will take almost 40 to 50 minutes in a salon.

Process Of Hair Spa At Home:

Step 1:
  • Hair and Scalp massage to be done by olive oil for 10 minutes.
  • Take a towel and soak it in light warm water and squeeze it to remove excess water.
  • Wrap the towel around your hair, i.e. scalp and hair completely. Sit for about 15 minutes.
  • This process may be done before going to bed to get the best result


Step 2:

  • Wash your hair thoroughly with a herbal shampoo
  • Rinse hair well with plenty of lukewarm water.

Step 3:

  • The next step is the conditioning of hair very gently. At this step hair should be just wet with water.
  • In this step hair should be divided into small sections for manage your hair.
  • Apply the conditioner very carefully to each section of hair one by one. Then wait for 2 to 3 minutes before washing the hair with normal water.

Special Note: for dry hair this method can be used thrice a week and for oily hair this method can be used every alternate day. If hair is too oily then skip the first step of oil massaging.


Step 4:
  • This step is to use only hair masks in order to nourish hair and need to repeat this steps in 15 days interval.
    • Hair Mask 1: Mix one or two beaten eggs (as per hair length) with 4 to 5 tbsp of coconut oil. Mixture it’s very well and apply it on your scalp and massage well with your fingers. Then cover your head with a shower cap and leave it for minimum 20 minutes. Then rinse your hair with water with mild suitable shampoo.
    • Hair Mask 2: Mix 1 beaten egg with one mashed banana, 4 tbsp of honey, 3 tbsp of milk and 4 tbsp oil olive oil. Now apply on the scalp and leave it on for at least 20 minutes. Then rinse it off with normal water with a suitable mild shampoo.
Process of the therapy is wonders for your hair, especially for dull and damaged hair. This process relieves a wide range of hair problems. So use this treatment and get a good result for healthy and glowing hair.

Make an all natural home remedy especially for hair type.

For all types of hair: The egg is really the best one for all types of hair as the yolk, rich the fats & proteins, act as an naturally moisturizing, white content of eggs, bacteria eating enzymes and removes unwanted oils.

Procedure To Use: Use the entire egg to conditioning for normal hair, use white content of eggs for oily hair. Use half cup of egg mixture (1 or 2 eggs) as needed for you, apply to clean and damp hair. Leave on for ½ an hour (30 minutes), then rinse with cool water and shampoo hair. Treatments of eggs and yolks only can be applied once a month, whites of the egg can be applied twice in a month.

For Itchy Scalp: To fight flakes depends on by poor diet, climate, stress etc – try a mixture of lemon juice and olive oil in your hair. The acidity in lemon juice helps to rid scalp of  loose, dry flakes of skin, while the olive oil helps moisturizes the skin on your head.

Procedure To Use: Take 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice, 2 tbsp olive oil and 2 tbsp water, make a mixture and massage into damp scalp. Let mixture sit for 15-20 minutes, then rinse and shampoo hair. This treatment can be applied every alternate week.

For Dry Or Sun Damaged Hair: Hair can be damaged by hard water, sun over exposure - this problem can be help by nature’s sweetener. Honey is a natural humectants, this means it attracts and locks in moisture.

Preparation To Use: Mixture of ½ cup honey into clean and damp hair, let sit for 30 minutes, after that rinse with warm water. 1 to 2 tbsp olive oil can be used to loosen the honey for easy to use. For maximum sun-damaged hair egg yolk can be used with the said mixture to get better result. This treatment or method can be used once a month.
